Hyakume (ヒャクメ) is a goddess, and Shōryūki's friend. With her 100 visual organs, nothing can escape her eyes. Only powerful supernatural beings manage to fool her vision. She has high reconnaissance and analysis abilities, but no combat power.
She is the inspector of the god's realm, responsible for investigations, and is in charge of getting all the possible information about Reiko Mikami's past; originally to discover why are the demons so interested in her.
She is one of the main allies during the battle against Ashtaroth, acting as the communication channel between Yokoshima and the ICPO, during his captiviness.
Etymology[]
While the Hyakume from Ghost Sweeper Mikami is a human-like goddess, Hyakume (lit. "Hundred Eyes") is often portraited a monstrous yōkai. Its earliest known appearances in entertainment was in Akuma-kun.
